I had a frozen 6 day transfer and I’m wondering if it would be the same as a 5 day in terms of early testing. Like, would I expect to see a positive 5 days after or would it show up sooner? It was day 6 because it wasn’t quite ready for testing/freezing on day 5.
I'd say so. My positives have shown up 4 days post 5 day transfers so I'd say 5 days post 6 day transfer makes sense, but like all of infertility, it's very case by case.
I transferred two embryos (one frozen Day 5, one frozen Day 7) and got a VVFL 4 days post transfer (which was the same day I got one from my older child, which was a Day 5 PGS tested transfer). One healthy baby 9 months later. Obviously no idea which one stuck, but I think it's fine to start testing 4-5 days after transfer.
Thanks! I tested today, which is 3 days after the transfer and it was negative. Will try again tomorrow or the next day.
A 6 day embryo is a little lower quality than a 5 day. Don't test earlier!
I got a positive three days after a 5dt.
Is this the case if it is PGS tested and is normal? |
