I am fairly adept with at-home grooming treatments, such as leg waxing and hair coloring. Do I dare try to tint my own eyebrows? If this is a disaster in the making, is there an economical place I can visit to have this done well?
I know it's dangerous, if color gets into your eyes, but I apply color to my eyebrows. I apply the color with a q-tip. My brows look great!
Yes, dangerous. I don't color but I do bleach the brows with Jolene (risks, too) to soften color and then use powder brow color to coordinate them with my hair color.
So, are we talking about using Clairol Nice N Easy - type hair colorant, 22:49? Or did you purchase a bottle of that specialized eyebrow dye? thx!
I use Just for Men mustache dye. It's easy to not get it into your eyes and it would be very easy to flush it out immediately if you did.
I use whatever color i am putting on my hair.
I'm sure none of us would ever use Just for Men on our eyebrows. And if we did, we wouldn't read this beforehand, because it would just egg us on. Which we don't want, being people who wouldn't use JfM on our eyebrows.

omg, 7:20, thank you for the good laugh.
I am op and I am going to buy a box of Just for Men in medium brown because ... you never know when DH might decide to grow a 'stache. and it might go gray. |
You can google eyebrow tint - vegetable based. I did this a while ago, and found a couple. Even the salons use vegetable based dyes, which shouldn't do more than sting. I've never done it at home, but please let us know if you try it. Is pricey at salons - north of $75 if you do both lash and brow.
be carefull with your eyes they do it at shirlington salon called illusions the eyebrows and eyelashes
Whenever I get my eyebrows waxed, she always tints them at the same time (no extra charge). I highly recommend Violet at Serenity Spa in Tenley.
