Camera ticket in DC

| I received a camera ticket in mail for speeding in DC, driving 38 on 25. I am very very careful in DC and must have missed something to get this ticket. This is first time for me in like 10 years and I am wondering if there is a way I could avoid paying this $100 ticket. Thanks for the help |

If it was your car - and you were speeding - they do not negotiate.
If it was your car - and something was off and there is proof that you could not have been speeding - or you were moving over due to an emergency, you can appeal. I have a friend you got tickets for running red light - but he was making a legitimate right on red but the camera was off. He appealed and won - but it was a PITA. |
