For 1st grader boy, I need to do some back to school shopping for clothing.
Carter’s has big kid clothes, plus Osh Kosh and Children’s Place.
Old Navy, H&M, JC Penny, Kohl's
Target, Land's End, Amazon
Target online-GIRLS section.
I have three boys. I have found that Old Navy is good for play clothes that you know will get destroyed. They are cheap but perfectly functional. The clothes that I am able to pass along and they hold up through boy three are Gap and Land’s End. So, none play pants, jeans, nicer shirts, etc. I tend to buy from those places. Underwear from Target and Old Navy is fine.
*non-play pants |
Dick’s. Ships quickly, easy returns.
Dicks, Kohls, target.
Primary
Nordstrom, target, REI.
Under armour. Don’t buy your first grader clothes at Carter’s.
Gap, LL Bean, Lands End, and Hanna for pants only (their shirts are “too babyish” for my DS). We aren’t in UA/Nike yet, but the Carter’s/graphic tee stuff seems too young.
Hanna (solid/stripes only for shirts), JCrew, Gap, Old Navy, Lands End
I try Thred Up or PoshMark first. Best to not keep consuming and trashing all the time. The stuff that's on there tends to be better quality anyway if it lasted. You can buy lots on ThredUp so you don't have to buy individually from sellers.
