| Other than Mejuri, where are you buying simple solid gold (not vermeil, not gold plated, etc...) jewelry? |
| Bon Levi from Nordstrom has nice simple designed 14k pieces. |

| What is black market |
| Believe it or not, I recently bought a gold necklace from Amazon. I wanted something pretty specific, and it was the only place I could find exactly what I was looking for. I was so skeptical, though, that I took it to a jewelry store that buys gold to confirm that it was actually gold...it was. And the price was reasonable (not great, but ~3x what the gold was worth by weight, which is a pretty standard mark up for jewelry). |
Do you remember the brand? |

Nordstrom Bloomingdales Roberto Coin (overpriced but good quality) Jennifer Fisher online Family-owned local shop Hunt Country in Purcellville MD. They are amazing gemologists and can design anything. Just a lovely family business. All price points. |
I suppose it depends what you are getting. 14k is 14k. I have 2 pairs of their earring, both variations of gold hoops. They are fine. |
| 14k isn’t “solid gold”. OP is specifying 24k gold. |

Almost no one except for the jewelers in Hong Kong makes 24k gold. It’s too soft. Indian yellow gold is 22k. |
