CSAs that deliver to VA?

Any suggestions for great CSAs that deliver to Arlington? Triple points for ones that are organic, or at least don't spray pesticides even if they aren't certified. Thanks in advance!

Try Lancaster Farm Fresh. Someone in my neighborhood is trying to get enough families together for an Arlington delivery.

Great Country Farms.

Not a CSA but all of their products are organic and from local farms in the summer. In the winter they supplement from farms outside of the area but they are organic. South Mountain Veggies. Check them out on their website. They definitely deliver to Arlington. We get our deliveries on Thursdays, 22207.

Like the pp, we also do Great Country Farms. They're not organic, but they do follow many organic practices. I love the front door delivery and we like going to the farm in the summer to pick extra goodies.

Also not a CSA, but Washington Green Grocer (see other thread) delivers and you can choose all organic. They also use mostly local farms, especially during season.

Thanks for the tips! It's hard to tell which are good from their websites.

I am the previous poster about South Mountain Veggies. Once nice thing about them is that you do not need to sign up for a year. You can try it out and see if you like it and there is no penalty for canceling. We get the "medium" delivered every two weeks and I just did a vacation stop for 2 months because we are traveling a lot. I will start it back up in mid-May. Quality has been great.
