Handbook for DCPS ES

Has anyone’s school released their handbook yet? Ours is supposed to come out next week.
Curious if the kids are going to eat in the cafeteria or their classrooms and if schools are having open houses for new kids.

The hand books then to be more long term rules and guidelines. There might be a new page added for covid. But, it is likely that will just come in an additional email or letter from the school given the rules have changed over the year.
You can probably just email the PTA or office and ask.

I haven't found the handbooks all that useful and, as PP said, the info you're asking about won't be in them anyway. It's mostly about meeting medical and special education needs, and the escalation of discipline.

Regarding covid policies and back to school schedules, I agree with PP--ask the PTO or the front office.
