We have Dr.Lang as our physician in DC, and even though she is in Washington magazine as a good doctor, we always seems to have difficult issues with her office: the wait times are excruciating, her ability to schedule and retain doctors seems limited, and her manner has been brusque. But we swallow it and see her due to limited choices in the DC area. Has anyone else had similar experiences, and can anyone recommend alternative pedatricians in DC? Really appreciae it. |
We like Dr. Ellen Hamburger @ 2141 K St. Dr. Sepe (same office) is also good. Haven't tried other docs in the practice. |
We had a similar experience at Dr. Lang's office. I personally found it to be like a factory and didn't feel like they did a good job of handling my questions, and scheduling was a nightmare. We have switched to Dr. Sweeney at Foxhall Pediatrics and have been very happy. They know all of their patients by name and I really feel like we get individualized care rather than cookie cutter. Number for foxhall is 537 1180 if you are interested. |
I'll second this recommendation. I love Dr. Balfour at this practice. Dr. Sheehan is the third doc. He's great too. We went to several practices before Foxhall, and this is by far the best for our family. Oh, and the parking is really convenient too. Great location if you live in NW. |
We also moved to Foxhall Pediatrics after getting so fed up with Dr Lang's office. The front desk staff there are horrendous - so so so rude. I got sick and tired of it and so we moved. Dr Sweeney remembers our names, remembers details about my daughter and is just lovely. |
