Really? These people are in charge of our fate?!?! And they are sitting as the county health council, passing mandates and amendments BUT the county health officials are no longer in attendance at the meeting!

Easier said than done. Take a look at the broken primary system in this county. Very few Democrats even show up to vote in the county primary elections. As a result, the primaries tend to be dominated by the narrow band of the “Takoma Park mafia”
Hopefully this will change in 2022 but more people need to be registered to vote as Democrats and show up.
Maryland is a closed party state and Moco is a one party county. If you don’t register as a Democrat in time for the primary you have no voice. The primary effectively is our general election.
