Noom for vegetarians

I have been on and off Weight Watchers for what seems like forever. I am ready to try Noom.
Any vegetarians out there on Noom? Is it working well for you?

I'm not vegetarian, though frequently eat meatless, but I've been on Noom for 2 1/2 months. I don't see why it wouldn't work well for a vegetarian. They encourage protein, but recommend all sorts including plant-based.

It is working very well for me, I've lost almost 10 pounds fairly painlessly!

I lost 20+ pounds on noom (148 down to 128) and it worked great.

just ran into a friend I haven't seen since the end of April, she's down 30lbs using Noom. She's tried every eating "plan" out there and said it's the easiest and most effective - for her.

Good for you! I started at 148 too on Noom and am down to 138, hoping to end up around where you are!

OP here. I wouldn't say I am done with it. When I follow it, it works. But it is really hard for me to stay on plan. I always do well for the first few days of the week and then fall off the wagon. I think I need a shift in my thinking for a while.

I don't think if it matters if you're a vegetarian for Noom. They have recipes and stuff, but the big supports are with behavioral psychology and nudges. Your diet doesn't come into that.

Vegetarian here. I did noom last year and lost 25 pounds. Being a vegetarian has nothing to do with what noom presents. It’s worth giving it a try! I loved it.

I don’t really understand how noom works. Is it just a calorie counter? Entering what I eat?

Noom will not help you. I was on it for a year. Things are broken down into red, hello, and green foods (not as clear as ww) and it will tell you things you already know. Just stay on ww and do the work.

Noom is way more than that. I didn't LOVE the food tracker but it helped me make better choices. The bigger part is the lessons. Some people find them corny. I did at times but sometimes the information was really worth reading. It worked for me and anyone who says "it will not help you" "it's a scam" (What???) didn't take the program seriously, weren't disciplined, motivated etc.
