Overbearing Coaches

Has anyone played against the Villareal boys coach who constantly screams at his players on the field (like every two seconds) joysticks the entire game, cheers tackles that result in injuries, and argues with referees? How is that guy still with any club? Are there others like this out there? Shouldn't be.

haven't noticed but that's because son plays for SYC so maybe we're just used to that

No but we had a similar coach at Potomac Soccer. He definitely didn’t encourage dirty play but he screamed, cursed and threw frequent tantrums. I’m surprised by how many players stuck around.

Team America has a coach EC who does all of the above but in Spanish its terrible.

Is this a Potomac Boy’s or Girl’s team coach?

Not Coach Tupy, Coach Justin, Coach Marc, Coach Pepe, Coach Papi, coach, Coach Ernesto, Coach Chris.

Don't know about girls side but Just my experience as a parent on the side line and I am a #soccermom who pays attention and doesn't miss a game.

Not Coach Tupy {true}, Coach Justin {yells and recruits}, Coach Marc {joysticks and left his two girls teams}, Coach Pepe {true}, Coach Papi {not from LMVZC}, Coach Ernesto {not from LMVZC}, Coach Chris {not from LMVZC}

the rest of LMVZC coaches? yell and joystick. wins over development. and not a lot of wins so what does that tell you? i'm a #soccerparent that had been at SYC for a long time with my DC. i see things too

Neither of my sons has ever had an overbearing coach at Bethesda, and we’ve been there for years.

Ignore them. that was obviously a troll. BSC coaches are NOTHING like what Ive seen at other clubs, especially SYC.
