Just wondering, has anyone had light, brown spotting around 12 days post ovulation, last a couple days, then go on to be pregnant? It seems like most posts i've read ... this ends with a period. just looking for some hope.... thanks! |

What I originally thought was my period is asleep upstairs. Full term, no issues or anxiety-producing moments for all 41 weeks.
I had about a half-day of brown blood, a couple days after my period should have come. Didn't realize it was implantation bleeding until after it failed to progress into a full-fledged Flo and the stick turned up positive. This was kid #2; didn't have anything like it with kid #1. Good luck to you. |
| I had implantation bleeding with both my pregnancies! First one lasted a couple of days of brown discharge/blood. Second one lasted maybe a week. I definitely thought it was my period the second time around. |

A test would not show positive until after implantation, since the hcg goes into the mothers blood stream via an implanted embryo.
This sounds like implantation bleeding and you should know for sure in a few days. You will either get a period or a positive test in the next few days. |
| I had implantation bleeding (pink not brown) with my second but not my first. It looked like when I lost my mucus plug and had bloody show for my first, but in MUCH smaller way, if that makes sense. I tested positive a week later. I didn't test earlier than that so don't know if it would have been positive earlier. I'm thinking good thoughts for you! |

With DD (she's almost 26 months now) I had a postive pregnancy test very early on then had some brown spotting. I think I was 5 weeks at the time, aka "Barely pregnant" according to the doctors office at the time.
Best of luck! -CK |
| Yep, happened to me. 1 day of minimal brown blood - a normal occurance at the beginning of each of my periods but no regular blood followed. I waited 4 or 5 days from when I saw it and BFP. Best of luck. |
