Game 4 v NED is likely to go to PKs.
Name your PK taker in order: 1 Lavalle 2 Heath 3 Lloyd 4 Horan 5 Dunn In 2016 Morgan and Press missed theirs. Rapinoe won’t be able to be in the game at 120’ Prediction US advances 5-4 on PKs |
| Ha! No. Miedema will score and score and the US is going to lose. |
|
Rapinoe takes all PKs
She scores all 5 goals She is declared man of the match and her reign continues |
| Play Dunn in her natural position and let her score goals |
Can you get a golden boot for shootout goals? |
|
Need to keep Lloyd Morgan Lavalle Rapinoe Horan and Ertz
On bench until late in extra time so fresh and on the field for the PKs. Macario should take #5 - Gareth |
| The Dutch will win by two goals. Minimum. |
|
Vlatko benched the starters !!!!
Nice !!!! And it is paying off. Does he have the guts to keep them on the bench |
|
Vlatko goes to 4-3-3 to defend and puts defenders all over and pulls the old slow ones
Finally some tactical recognition of respect for opponent and reality of this roster USA has a chance thanks to Vlatko |
| Buckle up here we go |
| PKs here we come |
| Rapinoe in for Heath ???!!! Nooooooooo!!!!’n |
| I’ll be surprised if the US women win this match. I don’t like the way they play at all. That said, I think Press’ goal should have been allowed. No idea how the AR could raise the flag on a play that was so close. Even if the US advances here, I don’t think they will win the gold. I watched the second half of the Canada v Brazil match earlier. I love the way Canada plays and their keeper is awesome. |
1. It wasn’t close at all, it was off. 2. In a tie game you don’t allow a goal on close offside. |
| Oh my oh my oh my |
