i have not read the 68 pages, but I cannot believe with the in depth reporting that included confirming so many details including that the custody hearing actually took place in exactly the time period referenced almost 40 years ago, there are people defending Roy Moore. Look to Mitt Romney’s statements on this, he is not going to jail and this isn’t a trial. There is more than enough corroborating evidence about the way he behaved with young girls during the time period in question. These women have zero benefit from going public with this. They did not seek the spotlight.
There are Republicans with morals, unfortunately not the majority. The republicans would rather have a pedophile in the senate than a democrat with a distinguished record of public service. We understand. Just never try to take the high moral ground again, you have given it away completely. |
It’s a real problem when the person who assaukted you is elected as the Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. |
That ship sailed when they voted for Trump. |
Afraid of horrible people like you who will seek to harrass them all over again. I read all the time on this forum accusations that liberals are "violent" and force conservatives to be silent about their views because they don't want to face backlash. Well, this controversy shows that conservatives are capable of the same damn thing. I bet you any money that those 4 women and their defenders will get harrassed like nobody's business. I won't be surprised to hear if they receive threats of violence against them from defenders of Roy Moore. Completely unmoored, these violent right wingers. |
They talked about it among themselves. How else do you think the rumors were going around that the reporter heard about? He's a powerful man in Alabaman. Why do you think women who have no such power are going to stick their necks out to let the world know what a creep he was? It was the reporter coming to them that finally convinced them to tell their story. |
Hey, right to face your accuser. Don't like it, too bad. |
|
We know that no one who supposedly knew about this never reported a thing.
Why wait until 30 days before a heated election? That's not even enough time for an investigation. Something fishy about that. |
Nothing better to do, Kelleyanne? |
Nothing fishy about the timing of these sudden allegations? Why did everyone sit on all of this for so many decades? |
Do you get paid by the rhetorical question? |
Dude he admitted to everything except the 14 year old saying that he always got permission from the teenagers moms before dating them. He admitted to knowing at least two of them. He won't say it didn't happen just, "I don't recall" and "I dated a lot of young women" |
| Conservative snowflake pity party. White privilege really sucks. The oppression must be almost too much to bear. |

Just when you thought Alabama republicans couldn't sink any lower:
Alabama GOP state representative Ed Henry is calling for legal action against the women who accused Roy Moore of sexual misconduct, saying “if they believe this man is predatory, they are guilty of allowing him to exist for 40 years.” http://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/359792-alabama-state-rep-roy-moores-accusers-should-be-prosecuted |
The girls' mother said he was a catch! In the deep south in the 50s and 60s most girls were married by 18-20. Humphrey Bogart fell for Lauren Bacall when she was 19 and he was an old man! |
Of course. Why not do the easiest thing, kick this guy Moore to the curb, and let the whole thing die in the next news cycle? What in the world are they so afraid of - more stories coming out? |
