Nature camp rec for an insect loving 5 year old

Anonymous
My 5 year old son loooooves insects. In fact, he is happy spring is here because that is when the bugs come out. I'd like to find a nature camp where the kids get to go on nature hikes, stream walks, etc where they might find some bugs. Any ideas?

The Nature Center at Wheaton Regional Park has programs that fit the bill! They are wonderful...

The Heights School has a nature camp where they do bug collections and mount the bugs and all that good stuff. My boys went as 5 or 6 year olds, I think. It's in Potomac. It's a Catholic school but no religious instruction in the summer.

Discovery Creek which has several locations. All kinds of good nature and outdoor education.

OP here. Thanks for the great suggestions. The Heights camp website doesn't seem to be working and the Audubon camps are full (at least for my son's age). I live in MD so let me know if anyone has any other suggestions.
