Leftovers of any kind! Did you know this tip? If you fill up the thermos with boiling water for 5 minutes, then dump out and add the warmed up food, it will stay warm
Longer than if you put it in a room temp thermos.

My son loves the penne chick pea pasta and it’s so nutritious. He’ll eat it with just a little pesto or olive oil and herbs. It’s good just warm so it’s perfect for a thermos.

The trend in my big kid’s class last year was chicken nuggets or sausages in thermoses.

Another thermos use tip: if you preheat the thermos with hot water and add something hot, the lid seal can become very tight when the contents cool a bit. We found that my kindergartener wasn’t strong enough to open her thermos when that happened.
