How long does IVF with PGS testing take?

| I had my retrieval Jan 20th and transfer was exactly four weeks later. We had a good number of embryos make it to day 5/6 and my clinic felt comfortable that we’d have some make it through PGT testing, so we parallel pathed. I think the testing took about a week to get results, maybe slightly more. |

I did an ER in April. My embryos were pushed to day 6- biopsied on day 6 or 7 and sent to the lab for testing. There was a weird delay with paperwork, but once that got sorted it took a week to get results. The genetic counselor made an appt with me for like 2 weeks later to discuss the results (I only had abnormal and mosaics).
I got my period 10 days after my ER, so with testing, I would not have been able to do a FET the next cycle (that wasn't my plan anyways but i would have done another ER the next cycle if I had found out the results earlier). |
