| Anyone watching this? I know it was canceled but seems to have gained a following on Netflix. I just started it. A little cringey and predictable, but also entertaining to where I want to know what happens next. I loved Lost and was so disappointed that it basically hit a dead end and the plot basically unraveled. Hoping that's not the case with this show and there is a purpose to the plot. |
| It will be a Walmart Lost. I bet money on it. |
| I watched the entire series. Yes, it hits a dead end and the plot unravels. |
| I watched the first season then stopped. I wanted it to be more about the individual stories of coming back, vs. the government conspiracy angle. |
|
I watched the first season and part of the second and dropped it. Just wasn't interesting enough.
It's a shame so many shows like this fail to deliver, lose their way, or get cancelled prematurely. (Flash Forward was never allowed time to develop an audience, and it had some potential.) How hard can it be to think through the entire narrative arc from the beginning. That's one reason I mostly watch Korean dramas. They are usually one season, around 16 episodes. |
|
I tried the first few episodes when it first aired but the acting was pretty bad, especially the lead actress's (the sister) only expression being a perpetually wide-eyed surprised look.
Plus, no way those people would just be allowed to integrate back into society in that big, showy way if that impossible situation happened. They'd be locked up and studied for years. |
| I watched the whole thing with my 15 yo. She liked it. But it just ended! They didn't even try to wrap up the story. Now we are like, what's the explanation???? |
| Darn, thanks all. Not going to waste my time with it. |

I watched it and liked it. I didn’t know it was an NBC show that was already canceled , though when I started watching it on Netflix. It might still get an ending , though.

| The kid movie Flight of the Navigator did it much better in the 1980s. |
| Oh crap—it got cancelled with no ending? I’ve been watching it all allong. I’m still pissed about the time I invested in that series about people going back in time to dinosaur time because of climate disaster, and then the one about humanity going back to pre-industrial world because of an accident that destroys all technology (I think about that one all the time when I realize I can’t grow anything, or fix anything, etc.). |

My kids are into it. Me, not so much. Cool premise, but it didn't take long for it to be stupid.
I think I can't stand most of the characters - especially the supercop sister. A better plot would be that you never know what happened and there were no actual visions but solely explore the collateral effects of all these people showing up a few years later. They sort of get there, but muck it up with the higher purpose stuff. It's like Lost meets Heroes. |
| I just binge watched all three seasons and loved it - I don’t normally watch this type of series but I grew to love the characters and enjoyed the little dramas in each episode. I hate that it’s ending midway through, though, I am eager to find out what really is happening! |
I wish I read this thread before starting this show. Halfway through 1st season and can’t take it anymore. |

Yeah the cop sister is a terrible actress.
The wife is actually a voice actor from wild kratts if she sounds familiar! |
