U11 indoor soccer camp in Moco?

Does anyone know of an indoor soccer camp for the month of August? DC is not super competitive. Looking to prioritize fun. Thanks!

http://www.passionsports.org they have camps in Sofive every week, run by two Bethesda coaches. They have very little kids and big kids too so everyone should be able to find comparable peers.

Also sportsplex nearby has soccer and multiple sports camps too. Very affordable price. Very friendly to beginner levels. My kid used to go there a lot.

Rockville Sportsplex has indoor summer camp.

I would recommend this camp as well.

My DD attended Sportsplex Soccer Camp for weeks at a time for many years prior to COVID. She loved it.

They had to shut down during COVID, so I don’t know if they are able to rehire or hire good coaches.

Please note that this Soccer Summer Camp is not for the most talented/skillful players.

Ds is in a camp for top players and its a $hitshow. Kids screaming at each other, getting more physical than usual (lots of knock down shoving) and the rest are emulating the worst kids to keep up. Its like a bad behavior virus and the coaches keep telling them to work it out amongst themselves. We were told that level had superior coaches but its like the quality dropped severely!

My experience with Soccerplex classes/camps was that it was fine for the little kids Soccer Bugs program more for preschool, maybe K or 1st, and goes rapidly downhill from there. There are just so many other superior options once you get past that age. Granted, very few are indoor during the summer.

I am the one you responded to and want to make clear I wasn't refering to soccerplex but a camp that was focused on talent and not fun. I honestly think a fun camp would have taught ds more and it wouldn't have been so miserable. Basically, I recommend the fun route.

One of the best camps in MoCo is Coerver. But, as the PP said, they are all outdoors in the hot and humid weather all day long. In addition, you have to watch for thunderstorms and pick your DC up.

I wish Coerver and other great camps would do camps indoors.
