Can a pelvic exam interfere with implantation?

Anonymous
Just realized that my annual OB/GYN exam is scheduled for the date when, if I get pregnant this month, would be right around when the little bugger is trying to implant itself. Should I delay this appointment until the next month, pre-ovulation??

No need to cancel your annual exam. It should not interfere with implantation or a pregnancy.

Keep your appointment it does not interfere with implantation or even early pregnancy.

My OBs office actually does a pelvic exam w/pap in early pregnancy, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Ditto. I tested positive right before my regular GYN appointment and changed it to an OB appointment. They still did the pelvic exam and pap smear.
