Was my post deleted? Masks in private schools

Anonymous
I thought I posted on the masks in private schools … a post about increased viral shedding from Delta (1000x the other variants), with a link to a study which I found on Eric Topol’s Twitter. (He is professor of Molecular Medicine at Scripps). I was planning to add to my post a link to a study on how masks lower the inoculum of the virus for the mask wearer but I can’t find my post.

Removed? Or did I forget to click submit?

I don't remember all of the posts that I deleted. But, if your post was deleted and was not inappropriate, it may have been because you replied to a post that was deleted. I did remove many posts from that thread that claimed that masks were not effective.

That you so much for being the arbiter of what constitutes correct scientific opinion. With you, it's like we don't even need such musty concepts as scientific debate and perhaps even the Scientific Method to resolve those debates.

I hope you haven't been talking to government officials about which posts to delete. I doubt lack of market share is a defense to first amendment violations by the government inducing private entities to censor.

This is some top-notch tinfoil hat thinking right here.

Actually, I text with Biden every morning to find out what topics I should delete. He mentioned that he is particularly appalled by your posts and is preparing a special place in a FEMA camp for you.

The thinly veiled threat of suing over first amendment violations (from an anonymous user account!) is an even higher grade of tinfoil.

I actually don't think you are talking to government officials--just talking legal theory.
You can mold your content any way you wish. Personally, I think your stifling debate just makes DCUM more of a laughingstock. Perhaps you get more eyeballs that way. It's still a free country... At least for now.

Poster who makes a barely coherent reply to the wrong post thinks I am the one turning DCUM into a laughingstock.

Why this statement if you didn't base the deletions on the "Science?"

I am so sorry my post was barely coherent.

The voices in your head appear to be distracting you. You first accused me of removing posts because of government pressure. Now you are arguing that I did it because of “Science”. Can you decide which conspiracy theory you are promoting?

I assume you removed the posts because you considered them disinformation. Presumably that means that means they go against a scientific consensus (whatever that means given the whole notion of the Scientific Method).

I never accused you of succumbing to government pressure and, in fact, explicitly said I thought the contrary. I do think a discussion on Facebook and disinformation might be interesting and I brought the subject up in this context. I'm not sure what your side thinks currently on First Amendment issues, antitrust, "truth," and their joint interaction. I don't see any threads on these subjects, but again I didn't look very hard for them either.

Imagine thinking a website is a stifling laughingstock, but then continuing to visit it? 😳

That says far more about you then it does the website.

No it doesn't. I only come here for the entertainment value. It's clearly not the time suck for me as for other posters.
