They're revealing the names of hacked phone numbers starting Monday. The list of 50,000 hacked phones was developed by Israeli tech company NSO.

That's like saying the U.S. government didn't buy/pay Blackwater or Xe or whatever its called these days during the the Iraqi invasion. The money changed several different hands but the origination point was always the government.

The Israeli minister of defence closely regulates NSO, granting individual export licences before its surveillance technology can be sold to a new country.

Seriously. Netanyahu was just kicked out office on June 13. We don't know all the names on that list but Jamal Khashoggi and two of his associates were spied on. Guess when he died? October 2, 2018.

Sort of makes me wonder if the technology the Israelis allowed yo be sold had a back door that allowed Israeli to monitor the customers who purchased.
