There is a new Celebree opening in Laurel, MD. From the website, it looks like the classroom design focuses on simplicity, order, and beauty. I am so turned off by typical bright and busy wall decorations that I see in most preschool programs and am wondering if these centers are different. Thanks.
If your children have been there for PK-4, I'd be grateful for any experiences with schedule and curriculum that you'd be willing to share. |
Please don’t procreate. |
I would worry more about teachers certifications and years of experience. Was not impressed by Celebree Crofton. |
They are looking for a director at the Celebree Laurel. Wait until the director is hired so you can meet the director before you decide to enroll. |

Another new one is opening up near Tysons Corner in an office buildings there. I like the look of their website and what they're trying to do. Some children are overstimulated by all the busy-ness and boisterous typical play-based environments. I think they're trying to tone it down a bit and might be Montessori-inspired. |
I worked for Celebree and they offer a really good program for preschoolers. My children flourished there. |
Wow, holy sock puppeting. |
I'm the person who commented to wait for a director to be hired before committing - the director makes a HUGE difference.
My concern with Celebree, as well as with Kindercare, La Petite and other franchises, is that they are franchises - so they can be very different based on who is running them - the Owner and Director - because they are the ones who hire, etc. |
Thanks for this. I’m trying to make some decisions for fall and it’s getting late. But I think you’re right. |
