Y did you sign up? It sounds like you are regretting your decision? Did you really think you were going to get MLS Next? Do some research next time.

I'm enjoying it. My DDs team is doing well. The competition isn't so great, but she has a good team.

You don't pick up sarcasm well. The point is that you are too invested. Let you kid get some practice and relax.

Never have we ever done Super Y. Kids are 13 and 16. It always sounded miserable. Never faced any repercussions for not doing it.

How often are the super Y results posted ? They seem to be a few days behind on some. While others are updated almost right after the game is completed.

It's fine. If I weren't watching my kid do this, I would be driving him and his friends to the pool, since they are 14 and it is too far to bike. A lot of parenting isn't that fun, or involves being hot outdoors. What can you do?

Today was partly cloudy and 75 degrees at game time with a decent breeze. Ideal day to play and/or watch.

I dunno, maybe not procreate and further pollute the earth?

Global climate change FTW.

This is my kid’s first summer playing Super Y; he’s playing with a different club than his regular season club, so we are getting to experience a different club atmosphere; he’s playing a year up; the competition has been tough and his team has a losing record so far.

He’s having fun and it’s pretty much been exactly what I was expecting.

For the same cost I suppose we could have signed up for one or two weeks of a “soccer camp,” and maybe we’ll try that some summer, but Super Y has been a good way to stay active and continue developing over the summer in a very low key, laid back way.

U13 Girl playing. Competition is way too far across the board. One game is decent, the next game is a win by double digits.

I would say practices are better than the actual games but at least the girls are getting 11v11 experience.
