Just had to vent to a receptive audience... I have been so busy getting things squared away at work, that I don't have much to do. Don't want to tell my boss, because it doesn't make sense for me to take on any new projects now. But, I am frankly bored and just can't wait to meet my new little one and start my leave. Anyone else in the same boat? |
Hang in there. I was in the same boat 8.5 weeks ago. Ended up going into labor at 38.2 weeks when my OB expected me to go past 40! Enjoy as much rest as you can now. Watch cheesy movies....go see the cherry blossoms. I wish you an easy labor. |
I am right there with you. I've found myself googling "foods, induce labor" many times. I found many interesting sites but haven't had the courage to try anything so I mope about. I've started drinking coffee once a day again to see if it makes me a happier person. Napping sucks. I've nested all the nesting I can think of nesting. I've washed clothes, removed labels, packed a bag - all hopeful for a surprise. I don't even want to go into labor due to fear of pain. I keep looking for something to do. I'm just miserable a lot. I've written all thank you cards... yeah, I'm right there with you. You are not alone. |
I'm there too. Just 36 weeks, but already really uncomfortable and just impatient to meet my baby. Of course, I'm not really as prepared as the rest of you - planning on the pre-washing, folding, putting away, packing a bag extravaganza this weekend. After that, I expect I'll be REALLY antsy. |
