It’s Indiana University not University of Indiana.

If he’s not tops academically strike Florida and Miami from your list. Not a chance at either.

What? No CTCL schools? You need to expand your list.

How are we supposed to give feedback if we don’t know anything about the kid?

Well, your kid has a type. Most are not where I’d send my kid, but you do you.

UGA seems unlikely OOS without top academic credentials.

Ole Miss probably belongs on that list. Possibly NC State.

WVU - big school, easy to get in and gives merit aid

Budget? What's your in-state option? DS liked some of those and also liked VT and ultimately went there

“You do you” reads like nails on a chalkboard. Please give that stupid phrase a rest.

Ok he is

Sporty kid but not D1 material
Doesn’t want a small school
Smart with a lot of interests but not traditionally academic
Social
Likes the south or warmer weather
Not interested in in-state schools
Tuition not an issue

Previous poster - yes sorry I knew it was Indiana University

Ohio, PA, and IN are very cold and snowy in the winter.

Has he looked at any Texas schools?

Auburn and Alabama on the same list as Boulder. Conservative idiots vs way more academics. Really you want your kid in a state with Roy Moore and Mo Brooks? Alabama has one of the lowest-rated public schools in the country and you think that's a place to go to college?

NO OP this is a horrible list. You are all over the place.

Why in the world would you put either of those schools are your kid's list?

And do your homework the University of Florida is very hard to get into. Alabama and UF are not in the same stratosphere. Same with Georgia.

You need a college counselor asap your list is ridiculous.
