Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) can meet California Emission Standard?

| Kinda odd question here but... Kid is moving to CA to continue his education. He will need a car and we are willing to give him our 2009 Honda Accord (an ULEV). Not sure what kind of trouble he will have getting CA registration and tag out there. Greatly appreciate any insights. TIA |
