Pool/beach party favor ideas!

Anonymous
We will be renting a place with friends for DS birthday. The 6 kids there are boys and girls ages 3-10. We plan on having a little cake and I thought it would be fun to have “goodie bags” for the kids. Of course they will need to be filled with the same items to be fair. What’s something(s) fun for kids in that age range that may even perhaps be fun at the pool/beach? (No food please, one has a severe allergy to almost everything!)

Small water guns or water squirters if don't want guns

My kids love everything in miniature. They'd love a little "beach" bag with some chapstick, sunscreen, water squirter, cheap sunglasses... that sort of thing.

I agree that squirters, cheap inflatable for the beach /pool, sunglasses are all good ideas. Water balloons are super fun at that age. Each get a pack of them.

Mini kites are not expensive but fun on the beach.

Distribution of ages matters. If 5 of the kids are 9 or 10 and one is 3, I dont think you need to get all the same things (my 3 year old would love bubbles..my 8 year old would play with them but not the same enthusiasm). If kids are 3,5,6,7,9 and 10 then getting all the same thing is easiest.

Diving rings or sticks would be a good addition for the older kids!

We have a million of those and the kids will never use them because the drawstrings hurt. You could do a plastic watering can, or one of those canvas over the shoulder bags that people use at the farmers market. If you can find small mesh bags for carrying pool toys, that would be great.

We did fun towels and reusable water bottles

It’s all plastic shit that will get thrown away after the most minimal use.
