| My child doesn’t get any options except for the one elective and math (she’s taking geometry). Otherwise, she’s taking English, history, science and PE (mandatory, daily). They don’t offer honors classes. |

Honors English, Science, Early US History PE/Health Chorus Band Skipping foreign language because he really wants a language that doesn't start till high school, and because I expect math to be a heavy lift. |

Sorry DC is in 7th so I probably shouldn’t even comment but I have to say, remember that a lot of smart kids are just going to do so much better with an intense schedule! Have faith.

| My kid is still in ES but the schedules I have seen posted are pretty similar to my schedule in MS in the 1980's. |
