oh wow...had not seen this. Source (just bc I want to read up and can't seem to find it). It always seemed weird to me: She was very attracted to Craig, and Matul seemed 180 degrees the opposite. Just didn't feel it. But they've been together a while now so didn't see that coming.

He treated her like crap during the last season she was on. Kinda like how she treated Craig. Sucks she had to move to figure out he was a POS.

I always thought he was a complete narcissistic ass (with big-time cheater vibes). And she absolutely worshiped him, which made his head even bigger. She's lucky to be rid of him before making any even bigger commitments.

His fellowship is at Cornell Weill. That’s basically the crème de la crème of fellowships. He will be stupidly wealthy and, of course, it has gone to his head. Total narcissist, but of course he knew Naomi was chasing that ring.

Where does it say anywhere that he cheated?

My bet is on her feeling extremely lonely in NYC. Fellowships take up the majority of a person’s life. Especially training in NY. It’s not the laid back south.

He was probably always at the hospital. She alone and bored in a new place. And no longer getting the attention she was used to in Charleston.
