| Where to buy clothes for 13 year old girl? Thank you. |
I would like to know what brands are most popular and where to buy them. |
| Hollister, PacSun, H&M, Zara, Target teen range, Aeropostle, Brandy Melville, Urban Outfitters. Lots of choices for this age! My 12 year old average size dd fits into XXS or XS in these stores. |
My 13 year old wears a lot of distressed denim shorts (lately she wants only levis, I think they may be trendy again), Nike/adidas/champion T-shirts and white AF1 sneakers. She also has converse sneakers. She also wears the above with soccer slides and when not wearing denim shorts she wears running shorts. All her friends wear similar stuff. When it gets cold add leggings, distressed jeans, hoodies and Uggs to the repertoire. |

For brick & mortar try:
Garage Pac Sun American Eagle Halter tops and jean shorts and hip huggers are in. Just warning you. |
| Also the petite sales racks in Anthropologie can be great but you have to rummage. |

First time doing real clothes shopping with 13 yo DD last week (she has always stuck to athletic clothes), and we had a great experience at American Eagle last week. Highly recommend.
FYI, their prices seemed higher than Aeropostale (and maybe the quality and cuts just a little better?) but it seemed so worth it because the service was terrific. There were 5+ college aged girls working there who actively helped DD wade through all the options (length, cut, high waist vs. actual waist etc.) to figure out what was most comfortable for her, and then they checked back, took the rejects, hunted down other sizes and colors etc. Took what could have been a frustrating process and made it actually enjoyable. (Also, there are AE coupons to be found - sign up for the free rewards program in advance. Same for Hollister if you're going to try them.) |
| American eagle is better quality than Aero - plus a little more in style IMO |
