How long would you wait for DC #2?

Anonymous
I am 33 and just had my first baby How long would you wait, if you were me, to have #2. I'd like to start trying asap but my
husband would like to wait at least 2 years. In an ideal world, I would like to wait a few years between kids but I feel the pressure of my biological clock ticking. I have PCOS and my husband has poor sperm morphology. With my first baby, after coming off the bc pill, I didn't get my period for 5 months. We then started with fertility treatments.... the third round of clomid plus IUI did the trick. So, fertility treatments worked pretty fast for us but I'm nervous that we wouldn't be as lucky the second time around.....

As soon as you can (after your body has recuperated from the birth and you are not breast feeding). I wanted a couple of years and ended up having a miscarriage. So, now who knows how far about they will be.

maybe meet your husband in the middle and start trying at 1 year.

Even if you want to start trying soon, discuss how long you should wait for health purposes before trying again. If you can wait a year, you can restore a lot of depleted stores, like iron and calcium.
