Help please! Seeking daycare recommendations near Woodley Park, or accessible by metro in DMV

Hi everyone,
I'm currently 7 months pregnant and researching daycare options in D.C. I'm feeling pretty intimidated by the prices. I live in Woodley Park but am willing to travel by metro for a safe and decent home daycare or daycare center with a price of around $1,500-$1,800 per month. I know this price range is difficult to find in D.C., but I'm really hoping! It would be very difficult for me to pay anything more. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. I'm open to both in-home daycares and daycare centers. Thanks so much for your recommendations.

Hi there--I don't know the cost, but there's a lovely family home daycare in Adams Morgan called Llave del Mundo. Our kids didn't go there, but we lived on the same block and heard really good things. Good luck!

Do a nanny share. Seriously. We paid Llave 2000 per month 4
years ago. Kinder house sucked and it’s closed. The cheapest will be David’s Stars and Kid’s Corner if they survived the pandemic.
