The Harry and Meghan Thread

Jeff, at what point will you lock that thread? There are some seriously troubled people on there. It’s constant fighting with complete strangers….over celebrities. There’s not any news or updates, just whackos fighting about a couple they’ve never met.

This is like a crazy celebrity stalker book club.

I haven't looked at that thread lately. It is pretty hard to keep up with it. If I lock it, they will just create another one. Could you maybe just avoid clicking on it?

I quit going in it, OP. I do have strong feelings about Harry and Meghan, but mostly as proxy for other things and I’m assuming it’s the same for most of the people in there. There is a grossly racist tinge to the hatred of Meghan. She seems a little attention-seeking to me (no more so than your average instagram influencer less than most of them, actually!) but the way people hate her is… it’s something. And it just snowballs with the latent misogyny that so many people have against women.

OP just take some long breaks every once in awhile. I go back occasionally to try to call out the heinous stuff but have to step away a lot of the time. It is so ugly.

It does, but there is a whole other level of investment in this one. It is genuinely *nuts*

I probably removed 20 posts from that thread so I don't know which were yours. But most I removed were simply posters calling each other names and/or asking posters if they either knew MM or could read her mind.

Co suffering Meghan hasn't been seen in months she's pretty bad at being "attention seeking" AKA existing while black.
