Porche Macan vs BMW X3

I am looking to get a compact SUV. I am not looking for v6 and not planning to drive long distance often. I really like the look of these two SUV (might change my mind after I test drive but for now considering these two).

Looking for some basics
1) Sit up high (tried of my current car low to ground). Which one has good visibility?
2) Looking to get lane assist, one that can parallel park in city (or help with it)
3) Good control/fun to drive

I recently bought a 2020 Ford Escape and parked it next to a Porsche Macan both white. I came back and found the Porsche owner mistaking my car for his. And my car cost $50k less!

The porche macan does have a lot of buttons in the interior which looks outdated (maybe a personal taste). The 2022 model may be better as it will have the same console/look as Cayenne from reviews.

Porche macan expensive as most items are options. BMW X3, a lot is standard vs options.
