What backpack does your high schooler, who needs to carry a laptop daily, use?

| DD is a tising freshman. She has a Jansport big student that she has used since 4th grade. She will be using that backpack for camp this summer (to replace one that is broken), so she needs to get a new one for school. I’m inclined to just stick with Jansport (I still have mine from high school and it’s in great shape ) but she wants to look into something else. If your child carries a laptop to school every day along with books, folders, and small binders, what backpack are they using? |

| DS has the same as your daughter. A Jansport Big Student backpack. He has been using that brand since elementary and changed to a solid color as he got older but kept the brand because it’s sturdy and big. It easily fits his laptop, things for class, lunch and whatever else he throws in. |

| LL bean. I still have mine from school 20+ years ago, and it’s in fine shape. My high schooler has his own now, and it’s tough as nails. |

| I got my son a north face back pack a few years ago when he was in middle school because the laptop plus binders made his backpack hard to fit everything and it was heavy! Anyways, now I want one because it’s such a nice backpack and easy to carry. It wasn’t cheap, but he’s had it for 3 years and I hope he will still be able to use it for the next couple of years of high school. |

Same. The inside of the laptop part is very soft so the laptop slides in and out easily. |

We have the deluxe, mostly because back when we bought the original did not have a water bottle pocket. Not sure if it does now. It’s 3 years old (mind you a year it sat at home) and looks brand new. About to buy my younger child the same one in another color. |
