| That doesn't break the bank (preferably under $350). Thanks in advance! |
| I love my davinci love glider BUT it started squeaking after maybe three months. The company asked for a recording of it squeaking and sent a new base. A few months later the wood where it got screwed in started squeaking. The company asked for a recording and immediately shipped a new one. The squeaking may have been due to weight overload because we had some heavier family using it. So pro for comfort, it’s smaller, it was relatively cheaper, and the customer service was good. But cons because how hard is it to make a chair now squeak? |
| We love our Dutielier - got it on craigslist. Has lasted 7 years we had it and then however long they had it (4 I think). |
| Dutailier bought off Facebook Marketplace. There are some really cheap ones in like-new condition. Just check frequently. |
| Just be sure to get a footrest (preferably one that also glides). I used a La-Z-Boy rocker with my first, with no way to put up my feet while rocking, and my knees hurt for MONTHS after those first few weeks when I was practically living on that rocking chair trying to get LO to sleep. Never again. |
Yes! We found one on the curb used the heck out of it and passed it along to a friend when done. It’s vintage was unknown. They aren’t cute, but the head and shoulder support will make you cry from relief. TBH my husband was annoyed I let it go, he liked it for watching tv. Definitely get an ottoman. |
| Dutailier +100. My friend's older sister had one, handed it down to her, who handed it down to me, and I handed it down to my sister. The frame has lasted all four of us. I think both my sister and I bought new cushions, but that thing is the most comfortable tank ever. |
Me again - and buy the rocker + the gliding ottoman. The gliding ottoman makes all the difference. Buy the frames used and just spend money on new cushions. No need to get a brand new frame when people are selling them on craigslist/marketplace for $50. |
| Dutailier. With rocking and reclining integrated. Large comfy oversized chair that is apolstered. It does not look like a rocking chair. It resembles a Lazy Boy type chair. We chose the fabric with an eye to eventually use it in a different room after the breast feeding years. It has been marvelous. Even as DC sized up from infancy, we could sit in it side by side to read and read, reclining all the while. Ten years later it is still awesome. Placed it by a sunny window to read each day. |
| Is this Dutalier’s market department on here? 😆 Or are they really that good? |
+1 on the importance of the footstool. This was the first thing my pediatrician recommended. Here’s the one I use: My Brest Friend Nursing Stool Adjustable for Comfort, Wood https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B003OZ3BPE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_CMWNDD6S7QBZRV0GH5NC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 |
The My Breast Friend nursing stool is great. Unexpected bonus: you can also use it as a laptop stand - it holds your computer at a perfect height/angle for zoom calls! |
I never considered one just because I didn’t like the look. It always looked very country style to me. |
| I’ve been liking my Babyletto Cali. |
