YMCS Silver Spring

Anyone have feedback on the daycare at YMCA Silver Spring? We are thinking about transferring our son there--we have heard good things in the past, and it is significantly cheaper than our other option at the moment. But the change in leadership and the lack of a current ED or very strong adminsitrative infrastructure is making me worried. I guess I am leaning towards waiting since my son is happy where he is, but does anyone have their kids there now and can provide me any reassurance?

I just registered my son to start in the 2 yo classroom at the Y in the fall, so I'd love any feedback from current SS Y parents, too!

OP...where do you have your child currently? I was on waiting lists for a couple of non-prof preschools in Tak Prk, but both have just let me know that they will not have spots available in the fall. I'm wondering if I'm "settling" for the Y and if there might be better options out there. My son is currently with a nanny he loves, but I think he's ready for the stimulation of a center and more structured curricula.
