What to do about aging in-law who refuses to follow doctor's orders?

| Has anyone dealt with the situation where an aging relative checks themselves out of the hospital or rehab against doctor's orders when there is no safety net in place to help them at home? What do you do? I'm at wit's end with MIL... |

| You could call Adult Protective Services for an assessment of your MILs safety. In fact, the facility should do that if she truly isn't safe. |
