I need:
1. Electric or hybrid. 2. Not too big. 3. Reliable with easy and affordable maintenance. 4. Good visibility at the back. Small blind spots. 5. Safety features such as lane change sensors, parking aids, etc. Thank you! |
| Why not consider a bicycle instead? They’re a much better choice for all of the factors you listed. You can get an e-bike with incredible range for less than $4,000. A bike is the obvious choice here. Cars are for stupid/lazy people. |
Oh brother. |
Budget? |
| Prius |
OP here. Not an issue, but I do want my money's worth. |
| Audi Q5e |
OP said reliable with easy and affordable maintenance. Audi is a lot of things, but reliable and affordable to maintain... ehhhh...some issues with the e-trons so far, lots of software problems, charging problems, etc. Q5e has great visibility, safety, nice interior, but I think Audi is still working out the kinks as they get their feet wet with electrics.
OP, Prius checks all of your boxes. |

This also looks wicked if you wait a little bit & money is not an issue.

Or Honda's version, the Insight. Not sure about blind spots but go test drive. |
| I like crossovers for visibility. I have hybrid CRV, I also like the hybrid RAV4. |
| I like our Camry Hybrid. |
| Get the new Lucid electric car that’s coming out. Gorgeous! |
| Just got a Prius prime and am very happy |
