replacing Ikea Cabinet doors

Buying a condo in DC that has newer IKEA cabinets but a few of the doors are scratched or beaten up. Is it easier to replace the ikea doors easily and is there a long wait to get it delivered from Ikea?

There delays are entirely about cabinet frames, door fronts are in stock. Should be quick, as long as the style is still available.

Super easy! And if you don't buy the IKEA doors you can go custom from a variety of providers.

Where can I find the style #. I can see the tag in the inside of one of the drawers but can't find the style. Do you think Ikea would have it saved by the address? Any other way to search in Ikea database?

Can you post a picture of the doors, or describe them (color, flat or paneled)? Depending on which doors you have and how old they are, they might have discontinued them or are now calling them something different.

You can remove one door and take it with you to IKEA. They’ll tell you what style it is and give you the catalog so you can order what you need.

The big issue, OP, is that IKEA completely redid the cabinet line several years ago, so depending on how old the cabinets are, you may not be able to find a replacement door and will have to go custom. A company like Semi-handmade or Reform will make replacement fronts for the old boxes, but you'll have to get new doors for every cabinet because they won't have the doors you have now.

OP you just need to find out if you have akurum or sektion cabinets.

If sektion, you can buy new fronts at ikea. If akurum, you're going to bed to go semi custom, like semihandmade.
