Just wondered what your experience and opinion is of Congressional summer camp.
hands down the most professional camp in the area. the communication is great, counselors caring and my kids come home exhausted and cant wait to go back
It's a well-run camp, but my daughter had a hard time breaking into cliques of kids who attend year-round.

My kids have been attending Congressional Camp for over 5 years and love it. We also attend during the school year, but we are less happy with that and are moving them in the Fall of 2010 to new schools - but we will still return for camp.
Camp offers horses, pool, and tons of activities - starting at age 3. Also, as your child gets older more activities open up so they do not get bored. This year Congressional is expanding to a second campus (St. James school in Falls Church) for certain camp sessions for older kids. When I asked my oldest if he would mind going to a new school his only question was "can I still go to camp at Congressional?" |
Both of my kids have been going to Congressional Camp for two years and they do not attend the school. They have made lots of friends and they LOVE LOVE LOVE Congressional Camp. It is very well run, from registration all the way to the clinic/nurse's office. Fabulous camp!
I have two kids as campers and one is now a staff member. We have tried camps all over the area. Congo Camp has the most engaged counselors, beautiful campus and the kids just love it. If you havent tried Congo Camp you are missing out and once you do I promise your kids wont want to go to camp anywhere else.
