Non immigrant visa and health insurance

Exploring options as parents (living in Europe) get older. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get health insurance with a non immigrant visa? Google is not helping me much.

Are you talking about insurance for yourself if you go and live in Europe? Or insurance for your parents if they come to the US?

For them if they come to us

You can buy insurance through the ACA on the healthcare marketplace. All of the eligible categories of people is on the website.

Health insurance as a tourist is not doable unless you get some sort of international travel insurance. That is likely not widely accepted here. Other NIVs are mainly employment based so I don’t see how they’d qualify for that unless you have US company sponsorship

You’d have to apply for immigrant visas for your parents to make them eligible.

Non-immigrant visa holders can purchase insurance through the ACA.
