I opened Google on my desktop and searched for a specific size AC filter. Then I opened Amazon and ordered some to be delivered. About an hour later I was on my phone and I opened the LA Times website which I have a link for but rarely look at since I don't live in LA. While scrolling through their headlines there was an ad for the specific size air filter I Googled.
I'll admit I don't know a whole lot about how this works, that's why I'm wondering if anyone here does know. What's the connection? Google? I didn't Google LA Times, I already had a link. Just wondering how this works. |
| Depending your settings, they know who you are on either device. Google and others are very intrusive. |
| What kind of person doesn't use ad blocking software in 2021? |
That’s got nothing to do with the question. |

It’s Google chrome. …. If you have a Gmail or google account.
That’s the link from computer to phone. The apps/sites on either device gets info from them. Apple is anti Google so they are trying to curb some of it. With the latest update iPhone apps now have a warning, something like “ ask site not to track me - yes or no”. |
