Early Years in Arlington

Early Years is on Lorcom Lane.

A mom in my neighborhood was offered a spot on Friday for the youngest class . She was invited to come in today to take a tour and she has to make a decision today I think.

But, I haven't heard about the other classes or from anybody else who has gotten a slot. I had thought they were doing lottery today? Frustrating!

PP here--I should note that I have not heard of anybody else besides that one mom who has been offered a slot (and I have been checking with people who have applied).

So, hopefully EY will begin to communicate soon because the suspense is killing me!

Lottery was supposed to be today (but sounds like maybe they did a class or two late last week). Have no idea whether its a 'true' lottery or not...

I have friends whose twins both got into one of the 3 year old classes.

I think they are getting through their spots one-by-one. We were offered a spot in their 3-4 yr old class last Friday and, honestly, I was shocked to have even heard from a preschool. The process is overwhelming and so competitive! Good luck!

How is Early Years notifying parents of slots? An email or a phone call?

We got a phone call last Friday...

We got a note today. Said 'you are in the top 20' for the waitlist. Not really sure what that means but clearly not good news! Bummer....

Did others get a similar letter--did they all say 'top 20'? Just curious.

Got a letter yesterday that said we were in the top 10 for the youngest class.

"youngest class?" i thought montessori was a blend of ages.
