| I was thinking of treating myself to a night at the Salamander this summer. Are rooms really $1200 night for a summer weekend?? Any secrets to getting a good deal? |
| So not worth it at that price. I know others will chime in and say the same. |
| I went during the pandemic for $300 a night! It was great. I’ll never go back to pay more than that though. Most certainly not worth it. |
| The place just isn’t that great. The rooms are nice but service and food are mediocre at best. |
+1 It has been a few years since I was there, but I was not impressed with the Salamander Resort. I do not think it is with paying more than ~$300 a night. |

Agree with all of the above!

| Went July 4th weekend 2019. They had a special of buy 2 nights and get one free. That said I hated it. Oversold place. Faux high-end upscale. Not at all 4 star. The spa is wonderful. Room service breakfast was good. There about it. Food sucked. Service sucked. Will never return regardless of the cost. Just terrible. |
| Read Yelp reviews too. Mine is there. |
| Not worth it. The food is meh. |
| I have been to salamander a lot, back when it was still possible to get decent rates. It’s for $300 a night for a room and 450 a night for a suite. It is not worth any more than that. Their prices are outrageous at the moment. $600 for a hotel room is absurd. |

*its worth |
*its worth 300 a night |
| Some of those reviews on TA are BRUTAL |
| OP- I'd really love to get a spa treatment but it looks like the only way to get an appointment more than a week out is if you're also a hotel guest. I'm guessing it's impossible to get a spa appointment unless you're actually staying there. Bummer. |
