Can an 11 yr old watch Sweet Tooth on Netflix?

Sweet Tooth on Netflix is TV14. For those who are watching/have seen it, can an 11 yr old watch? Is there too much violence? Sex? Anything to worry about?

Depends on the 11 yo. There is some violence. We are watching it with our 10 yo and 12 yo and it’s mostly fine for them but they are very concerned about the hybrid kids maybe getting hurt (we are only 3 episodes in I think).

I’m almost done with the last episode. No sex at all. No graphic violence but definitely implied (as in last minute cut aways) of some pretty violent stuff. Depends on your 11 year old, but there are somethings that might stick with a sensitive kid. (I hate to do spoilers)

My 10 and 12 year olds are watching it. I wasn’t sure if the depiction of a worst-case-scenario outcome of a pandemic would freak them out given the last year, but they seem to be processing it as pure fantasy.
