Pebble bounced up on highway and now Ive got a big crack.
I’ve had a bad experience with safelite (which is what my insurance covers fully) where the glass they used ended up being defective. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to try and find a different shop that specifically does auto glass? Also, do they all use cheap generic replacement glass or can I find a shop that will use the original manufacturer glass? Any advice is appreciated! The car is fairly new and it kills me that the windshield needs replacing already! |
| Most places use the same types of glass, maybe try the dealership and see who they use? If you’re making an insurance claim they will likely cover the dealer replacement |
