Last day of COVID SchoOLyear tomorrow

Knowing tomorrow is the end I am compelled To ask colleagues how relieved are they knowing tomorrow this Orwellian screen-driven nightmare of a charade is over. No more BS about hybrids and distances and remotes and screens all day everyday.
No more students cheating their way through the curriculum. However, we still have LCPS taking away the accountability from their actions and is currently more focused on she/him shit that the decline and degradation of the once robust and respected admired school division is consummating faster than anyone ever anticipated

OK, I'll play along with the trolling.
"Students cheating their way through the curriculum"??? For the first time in a long time, you've just made me glad my kids are in APS. If that's the teacher attitude in Loudoun, APS is looking better to me.
If students cheated their way through, that's on you. Despite the online format, you could have done things to ensure your students didn't cheat or at least didn't cheat excessively or any more than they normally do.
Enjoy your summer. Sounds like you might have to actually earn your salary come fall.

LCPS parent here and I couldn't agree more. Distance learning is a nightmare and I look forward to my rising 8th grader having a normal school year starting in the fall: Full-time, in class maskless instruction.

Sadly, I think screens are here to stay. And still not convinced next year will be “normal.” I hope I’m wrong though...

You are wrong. Virginia as a state, and Loudoun and Fairfax Counties in particular, are kicking Covid's ass. Fewer than 8 cases a day, under 1% positivity and closing in on herd immunity.

Next fall will look like a normal school year, pre-covid.

And I didn’t have to inject myself with poison. Yet another win. When I get back from my overseas travels this summer I might have to claim a “close contact” to buy me an additional two weeks of holidays. I’m hoping they keep this covid charade going on next year.

OK. Time for this charade of a post to end. Hope you find something else to fill your time this summer.

What could that be? Collective bargaining? Making Mondays asynchronous?

Are parents mad I’m enjoying summer and traveling domestically and internationally? Asking for a non-vaccinated teacher
