hospital question

hi all,
What do I need to pack for the baby when going to the hospital? What kind of clothing? I'm having a babby in June. Thanks

It will be pretty warm then so you can just pack a onesie and light sleeper.

they give you a snap tshirt and blanket to use while you are in the hospital, and then you just need to bring something to bring the baby home in . a one piece sleeper with footies, lightweight, will probably be perfect. you may also want a light receiving blanket.

congrats and good luck!

A word of advice, i found that the hospital itself was pretty cold when i was in delivering my first and i was glad that i had brought one warm set of pj-type clothes for my little one, and for me as well. I was warm outside but chilly inside. Best to be prepared for everything, i say.

I agree with the prior posters. The hospital will give you everything you need for you and the baby...so just bring a going home outfit.

I suggest bringing your own towels for yourself. I did this and was sooooo thankful I did. The hospitals towels barely cut it for me and after you have a baby, one of the first things you want to do is take a shower.
